archiving best practices

The archive team provides the foundation for the entire digital department. They are responsible for sourcing all artist materials and safeguarding them for future use.

COLLECTION:

• Archivists must receive a call sheet for all Advertising/Editorial/Video jobs.

• Call sheets are the most useful resource in identifying and tracking job requests, as well as providing the best contacts for image collection.

• Archivists are resourceful in getting images, but work more efficiently when armed with the most information possible

• Two-week turnaround for Red Carpet collection, depending on season and volume.

• Events must be listed under the following Job Descriptions in Jaguar:

  • Do & Go

  • Performance

  • Talk Show

  • Show/Fashion Show

  • Press Day

  • Red Carpet

  • Tour
